Blazing Hands Meetup Group
This is a meetup group organized by Jesse "Rupert" Dubler. It's all levels, mostly students getting together to practice sign. It's much more structured than most ASL Nights, so get ready to be attentive.

Meet other people locally who share your interest in bridging the gap between the Deaf and hearing communities. This group is open to all levels of signers; the Deaf, the deaf, the hard of hearing, and students of all ability levels seeking to communicate dynamically using their hands.
I am a professional American Sign Language (ASL) tutor who typically tutor more than 10 different clients at any given time. As a San Diego native born to deaf parents, I am one of the natural leaders in the deaf community here in San Diego. I am best known for being a co-founder of the Deaf Professionals Night (DPN) event that regularly draws over 60 patrons every first Friday every month although I regularly host other events for the deaf community.
I have decided to establish this group for many different reasons including offering my tutoring clients a chance to use their skills in a small informal social setting at no charge to them. I am also keenly interested in breaking up the cliques in San Diego and building a sense of community.
I look forward to hosting this meet-up and hope that those who attend will give their input as how to make this a better experience for everyone involved.
Thank you and happy signing!
